Of course you would. Now let's look at it a different way. Your brand new home has light color carpet, stairs, piano, fire pit,no furniture and a backyard full of dirt. Would you have a BBQ and invite your family over with their kids? I am thinking NOT.<br /><br />Josh and Loretta are expecting their first child. We are very thankful for the hospitality and opening up their home and being Host and Hostess. We are hoping we have not scared them away from having anymore kids or maybe we have paved the way of what to be prepared for in years to come.<br /><br />Josh and Loretta's home was a dream come true for all kids. Plenty of room to run around and get dirty. The kids had a wonderful time. Of course, Ryan heard Uncle Josh had a Ball. Then his focus was the Ball. Before the rules were explained, Ryan already kicked the ball at the sliding glass door. Thank goodness, no windows broken.<br /><br />All the girls were running around up the stairs and to the loft. Then someone found Loretta's piano and all the kids were drawn to playing the piano. Now, Eva and Lindsay were drawn to the fire pit and the torches. Yes, they were lite. No one got hurt. An adult had to be outside all the time.<br /><br />Josh's BBQ just would not lite. No problem, move to plan B, the oven. Now this is where the discussion of a double oven would have came very valuable. Even though it took longer to get dinner going. I did not hear any of the kids crying they were hungry. The were to occupied with having fun. The food was excellent.<br /><br />Darkness came and the party for the kids went outside to the fire pit for smore's. It was a nice evening to hang outside and a few still lingered inside for a nice conversation.<br /><br />Thank you Josh and Loretta. Please remember the good times as you find little finger prints not coming off or foot prints soled in the carpet. Remember paint does wonders for covering walls and besides that plan of replacing the carpet may come a little sooner than later.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/pvrMsFl1s2Krf5YLAphSaA?authkey=Gv1sRgCM2S9t-rmLHnTg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/SfNCr0k_CEI/AAAAAAAAIOg/IBwbFzvD0Jo/s400/2009april.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Collages?authkey=Gv1sRgCM2S9t-rmLHnTg&feat=embedwebsite">Collages</a></td></tr></table>Silly Monkeyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06341372463715702602noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-59759851906145905362009-04-11T11:49:00.000-07:002009-04-25T12:24:57.329-07:00Easter Egg HuntSaturday morning started off with Breakfast at Fedderman's Camp. Then after Breakfast kids can run around and play. They had horses, zip line, play ground and plenty of places for them to hide eggs. The kids enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt. <br /><br /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="400" height="267" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fkrausedm%2Falbumid%2F5328701155404205521%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Silly Monkeyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06341372463715702602noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-92020165340585678842009-04-10T22:28:00.000-07:002009-04-25T11:17:19.593-07:00Six Flags Discovery KingdomIt is Spring Break in Utah. Were do we go, of course, California to see Grandma, Grandpa and cousins. Ryan and Lindsay were excited to goto Six Flags with Grandma and Grandpa. They wish all their cousins could have gone to, but they had work and school. Bum deal.<br /><br />We hoped for a beautiful day, but we did get rained on. The kids enjoyed seeing all the shows or events for the whale, seals, dolphins, sting rays, sharks and pengins. They were bum they could not see all the other events with the elephants, tigers or other wildlife. We were not able to find the path to get to them. Their map was not a very good map.<br /><br />The rides were either to small or too big for Ryan and Lindsay to ride. They were bum again. We tried to make it a fun day. Ryan and Lindsay kept saying it was their bestest day ever or their worst day ever depending on what happened.<br /><br />Lindsay and Ryan enjoyed being up close to the Dolphins and learning to give them commands, feeding the seals, and watching the seals and killer whale perform. The kids did get to go on a swing and the log ride a few times. Lindsay liked the log ride the first few times, but then she got wet and it was raining. Ryan loved it and wanted to keep going. Especially, since no one was in line, they were letting continue ride it over and over again.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/3IbPokWgJdYDMy1Sagt82w?authkey=Gv1sRgCL_Lwb7SkM-xkgE&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/Se3nX_YLqoI/AAAAAAAAIBg/UNT3W4AQ8cw/s288/P1010140.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/041009FamilyTripToSixFlags?authkey=Gv1sRgCL_Lwb7SkM-xkgE&feat=embedwebsite">04/10/09 family trip to Six Flags</a></td></tr></table><br /><br />We finally found a roller coaster that Ryan can ride on. The Tony Hawk Big Spin. As we got closer, Lindsay was able to ride it too. Both Ryan and Lindsay were excited. Lindsay is all strapped in and Ready to go. Her hands up high and scream this is COOL. Once it dropped and started to spin. She was ready to get off. Ryan was still screaming, this is Sweet.<br /><br />Six Flags was ok. I would rather go to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Sea World, since there are more for are kids to do and enjoy. Maybe next time.<br /><br />Ryan and Lindsay did have a wonderful time spending with their Grandma and Grandpa. They love California and all the different things they get to do or experience. Ryan said it would be more fun if all the cousins could have been their with us too.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/_c0ER7X7WiNVlVmQML4gsQ?authkey=Gv1sRgCM2S9t-rmLHnTg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/SfNSDpvuO_I/AAAAAAAAIPA/r2Ynk_ts_f8/s400/2009april1.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Collages?authkey=Gv1sRgCM2S9t-rmLHnTg&feat=embedwebsite">Collages</a></td></tr></table>Silly Monkeyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06341372463715702602noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-55629660623612677472009-04-09T23:19:00.000-07:002009-04-25T11:39:34.345-07:00We can't forget the BeachRyan and Lindsay all the way from Utah to Calfornia, kept telling us we can't forget the beach. We decided to take them to Baker Beach. For anyone who has been to California knows there are miles and miles of beaches. Not all of California Beaches are the same especially when you are in Northern California.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/OPJNqo9dqj42FH3BaJ6rgg?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/Se3jUppiULI/AAAAAAAAH8A/W8ZuoydjAdU/s288/P4090052.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Easter2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite">Easter2009</a></td></tr></table><br /><br />Now check out that view. We had the whole beach to ourselves. Maybe, part is because of the weather. Oh well, it was a nice day to spend together.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/I7_H-b5ofitzL8BRlgETbA?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/Se3jGJzEI7I/AAAAAAAAH48/8Ow2oWwSziw/s288/P4090031.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Easter2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite">Easter2009</a></td></tr></table><br /><br />Ryan and Lindsay couldn't believe we were still in California, because this was not the same beach they went to in Southern California. <br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Kpm9xfXeBkwo05cf1XP4lA?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/Se3jboRr3NI/AAAAAAAAH9E/_jEUOw1zOrE/s288/P4090067.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Easter2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite">Easter2009</a></td></tr></table><br /><br />We also had the chance to go on the Golden Gate Bridge. It started out to be an oops we missed our turn off. Ryan and Lindsay loved going over all the bridges. We stopped to walk on the Golden Gate Bridge, but Ryan and Lindsay were happy with how far they were already on the bridge, but ready to go to the beach.<br /><br /><table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/NrtyaZt5boeN5AtHbpUbjw?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_YESdH2xuWIw/Se3jJmcS9YI/AAAAAAAAH5k/BuHviPWhy_I/s288/P4090027.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/Easter2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCNet2YWkoef1Pg&feat=embedwebsite">Easter2009</a></td></tr></table>Silly Monkeyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06341372463715702602noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-56401630903050713882009-02-02T03:50:00.000-08:002009-02-02T08:21:33.289-08:00The Scrapbook Album of the Year!<span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:130%;">The Scrapbook Album of the year goes to:......KATHRYN!</span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">This is Kathryn 1st nomination and 1st OSCAR Win!</span><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:georgia;"><strong>The critics response:</strong></span><br /><p align="center"><span style="font-family:georgia;">"This is a wonderful book." We are both on 2 weeks vacation. That is the first time we have done that in a long time. I usually have the 2 weeks but Bill doesn't. We are hosting Christmas Eve with all of our Northern Cal. Kids. On the 26th we are leaving to travel to Southern Cal to visit Bill and his family. We will spend a few days there then head for Utah. In Utah we will see Melissa's family and of course visit with Andrew. Andrew is a senior at BYU. He has a very exciting oportunity to go to Washington DC as an intern working for HomeLand Security with Imigration. He will be leaving on the 2nd and be gone until mid April. Our family is growning and we are excited to see everyone this year. We have has a very good year and have been very blessed. We wish all of our friends and family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-109349045434597922008-12-23T06:04:00.000-08:002008-12-23T06:14:11.398-08:00Christmas Party 2008<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDSEnKMoDlqLz3SeuxKZahgZlfYr5VxUHaeofyXKj_dLA-X_g0iUNH-lR7Iv2zdQgfJThemMkE5dJb4g_s0u1agLRTF7iGKKOkRxX9gJ42Pp5HvswYQMatKiyjlkDdGadDfUxNDFR6CBea/s1600-h/PC190085+-+Copy.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDSEnKMoDlqLz3SeuxKZahgZlfYr5VxUHaeofyXKj_dLA-X_g0iUNH-lR7Iv2zdQgfJThemMkE5dJb4g_s0u1agLRTF7iGKKOkRxX9gJ42Pp5HvswYQMatKiyjlkDdGadDfUxNDFR6CBea/s200/PC190085+-+Copy.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282988599577944770" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0h0QzDPoMOyQjJdlBrcO_0-FeHyAa5OswuyXssRpBH_VefsNiX_flNgcjWPdPWCR_KUdwCKwYZ1EMIHVeBkOTIXslDkqd1ZbTfCw8LC3_vyVr8q6nswRwuww1j467uLD_wiiOBck9CImN/s1600-h/PC190084+-+Copy.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 164px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0h0QzDPoMOyQjJdlBrcO_0-FeHyAa5OswuyXssRpBH_VefsNiX_flNgcjWPdPWCR_KUdwCKwYZ1EMIHVeBkOTIXslDkqd1ZbTfCw8LC3_vyVr8q6nswRwuww1j467uLD_wiiOBck9CImN/s200/PC190084+-+Copy.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282988602746655234" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk4SuoIUdecFTLRnbBZTGr4v1sSgivliJx7q9Hc2xyu3yYsHd0CTl6nfrfj3mooygmbOjxFP21zssVU31KPlvZ9sa6tbYArD9u8M1BIktBzIwmap97PZfbqtVi4BEQB92DwmIfGlZvZVd6/s1600-h/PC190080+-+Copy.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 146px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk4SuoIUdecFTLRnbBZTGr4v1sSgivliJx7q9Hc2xyu3yYsHd0CTl6nfrfj3mooygmbOjxFP21zssVU31KPlvZ9sa6tbYArD9u8M1BIktBzIwmap97PZfbqtVi4BEQB92DwmIfGlZvZVd6/s200/PC190080+-+Copy.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282988595737349218" /></a><br />Well it is that time of year again. We enjoyed our Ward party with some of our grandkids. Jared and Miriam are in our ward so they were busy helping with the party as Miriam is on the Activity committee. Mark and Staci came from Concord to participate in our festivities. The cousins always enjoy being together. Little Jared wasn't happy about sitting on Santa's lap but Matthew did better this year. Eva could hardly wait to tell Santa all the things she wanted. We have had to remind her that you have to be good to be on the good list. She had cut her own hair earlier in the day, she is now learning that was not a good idea. Emma and Becca enjoyed seeing Santa also and are very hopefull that their wishes will be fulfilled.Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-82638973161311572552008-12-18T15:43:00.001-08:002008-12-18T15:51:51.043-08:00Music Play List<em></em><br /><em>Hello Family, </em><br /><em></em><br /><em>I have added a play list of music to Mom's Family blog. We were able to get it put together and all set up during Thanksgiving weekend. Problem! I didn't realize that there would not be room for 2 chairs. Now we have to take it down and turn it around so we have more room for both chairs. Still have some shelves to put up above the desks and a printer cabinet to put together. Maybe it will get done someday.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWtscD8kdyfg4Jr6V6XHuVw00egTQ6epWGV9dZhQfBg2hQCutthdmBnl7BWMhY__mmdimMKG_b9NzG38Mk2qc9m3ooMhSk0wf6n9KivRADaV1GrqqRNTl3PLfJnj7-UUr6w_2c2n4uZfBw/s1600-h/New+Office+5.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276426116983125266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWtscD8kdyfg4Jr6V6XHuVw00egTQ6epWGV9dZhQfBg2hQCutthdmBnl7BWMhY__mmdimMKG_b9NzG38Mk2qc9m3ooMhSk0wf6n9KivRADaV1GrqqRNTl3PLfJnj7-UUr6w_2c2n4uZfBw/s200/New+Office+5.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhITx_TAUiHaJa7w4F6x-VtzmMPQp6t57dqqSae0628o5OPqXGsTZBbPXyDXJFd-2HTItufIbCI9yp3OVApCqDu9zjJMjVZFboWlnsuOkldWVAAzCm2gy_uRwtrbsJKI9ppDO9vO-tnY3Z5/s1600-h/New+Office+4.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276426113095770386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhITx_TAUiHaJa7w4F6x-VtzmMPQp6t57dqqSae0628o5OPqXGsTZBbPXyDXJFd-2HTItufIbCI9yp3OVApCqDu9zjJMjVZFboWlnsuOkldWVAAzCm2gy_uRwtrbsJKI9ppDO9vO-tnY3Z5/s200/New+Office+4.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmxqIMfcrJZaCdHij8CX-0C3vVwXSY1lPJ6S7VP5_WkDFnVusN40Jg1tqQuxFM43OO-2d8RgYEaglB5fcOuTuHP1-zqOOs9WMLx_N2zG973xXy_F5x3aKOvCfTKJ8g8RTItCdin95Li5j7/s1600-h/New+Office+3.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276426097245590658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmxqIMfcrJZaCdHij8CX-0C3vVwXSY1lPJ6S7VP5_WkDFnVusN40Jg1tqQuxFM43OO-2d8RgYEaglB5fcOuTuHP1-zqOOs9WMLx_N2zG973xXy_F5x3aKOvCfTKJ8g8RTItCdin95Li5j7/s200/New+Office+3.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivNSV9ci37kbkJPkMyGj_zTdiZVjlEWAB3TnorgXZ3Z3aNu4mSaTULsal_l7r56sn8n2jzyx8bhBbep4cZwuu_aZOxJmATww1U5nry1wk_T5rQQ0oGtJJ_UjSdam_ThyphenhyphenD_m15YJ-HoKJxv/s1600-h/New+Office+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276426107808995074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivNSV9ci37kbkJPkMyGj_zTdiZVjlEWAB3TnorgXZ3Z3aNu4mSaTULsal_l7r56sn8n2jzyx8bhBbep4cZwuu_aZOxJmATww1U5nry1wk_T5rQQ0oGtJJ_UjSdam_ThyphenhyphenD_m15YJ-HoKJxv/s200/New+Office+1.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjymDhq-bArzPbE3Ey9aXkVrVJ08RH1UlPhf1Om4UYHqORZGgAzfQGRFbJu6nZfv_1vNdEBRgVM00YcV55GPf7fVWfR771Q85J4sxP4DSU_cRKBaCWIWGVO_XjssauxXH2v27lVXeUA52l/s1600-h/New+Office+2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276426100462436114" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjymDhq-bArzPbE3Ey9aXkVrVJ08RH1UlPhf1Om4UYHqORZGgAzfQGRFbJu6nZfv_1vNdEBRgVM00YcV55GPf7fVWfR771Q85J4sxP4DSU_cRKBaCWIWGVO_XjssauxXH2v27lVXeUA52l/s200/New+Office+2.jpg" border="0" /></a>Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-65215939731866450812008-12-05T13:42:00.000-08:002008-12-05T16:53:30.205-08:00Thanksgiving 2008We had Thanksgiving at our house and most of the family was able to come. Melissa's family and Andrew joined together in Utah for their own Thanksgiving, but everyone else was at our house. Of course phone calls were made so all cousins could wish each other a happy Thanksgiving. Bill and his family came from S. Cal, Mark's family from Concord, Jared's family from Oakley and Josh and Loretta now live right here in Brentwood and of course their kitty "Callie" was included. The kids all had fun chasing the cat, spinning on my antique piano stool, decorating our traditional Gingerbread House and just playing with each other. This year Miriam added a gingerbread train. I think the kids eat more candy then they use for decoration. I was happy cooking and all the men were playing with their Iphones, computers and cameras. After dinner we all went to the movies to see "Bolt" in 3D. We have much to be thankful for this year. Bill and I are well, working hard and enjoying our ever growing family.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e5463324d6a45324d513d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Thanksgiving 2008" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e5463324d6a45324d513d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-51272312531137247442008-12-05T10:28:00.000-08:002008-12-05T13:39:40.086-08:00Thanksgiving Pagent<div align="center"><span style="font-size:130%;"><strong><span style="font-family:lucida grande;color:#cc6600;">We had a Thankgiving pagent at church this year. They always have a good party. Lots of games, entertainment, food and of course Trunk'r treat. Loved some of the creative ideas to decorate their cars. The best this year was McCain & Palin and the Missionaries. It took Matthew a while to get the hang of things because he wanted to stop and eat each piece of candy he got before he went to the next trunk. Bill had been at a camporee all day and arrived late but was right in time to see Ray the Magician. It was a fun night.<br /><br /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="400" height="267" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fdonnalindsay%2Falbumid%2F5267094653699926753%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss%26authkey%3DtnZhH06aQm4" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-89606241961015909972008-10-19T14:19:00.000-07:002008-10-19T16:56:59.622-07:00On October 18th we had our annual trip to Smith Farms here in Brentwood to pick out our pumpkins. This year it was Bill & myself, Josh & Loretta and Mark & Staci, Emma, Becca and Matthew. Although we were fewer in number we all had a good time. Smith Farms is a family owned farm and each year they have all kinds of activities going on to enjoy and learn about farm life. The kids love to visit all the animals, go to a barn ho-down, visit the Indian Village, see different displays about farming, get lost in a corn maze, go on a hayride and pick out their own pumpkin.<br /><br />When were finishied at the farm it was back to our house for a bar-b-que and celebrate Becca's 5th birthday. She was very excited to blow out her candles and open her presents. Her birthday is not until the 27th but since we were already getting together it was a good time to include her birthday.<br /><br />Oct 18th is also Lindsay's 5th birthday. I enjoyed a phone call with her in the morning as she was opening the presents we sent to her. I was sad that because she lives in Utah with her Mom & Dad (Dan & Melissa) we couldn't spend the day with her also. Happy Birthday Lindsay, we love you.<br /><br /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="400" height="267" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com&captions=1&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fdonnalindsay%2Falbumid%2F5259007216131296481%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss%26authkey%3DLIsxms9OYFw" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>Donnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07364015952761582154noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-24451204410211376422008-10-03T15:09:00.001-07:002008-10-06T03:52:12.774-07:00Girl's day out!Girl's day out! It is time to hit the nail salon. Today was a day to enjoy getting a manicure and a pedicure. Eva and Lindsay were excited to join us gals at the nail salon. While Miriam, Mom and myself where getting our pedicure and manicure, the girls were exited to get their nails painted. Both Eva and Lindsay chose their nail polish, of course they keep coming across something better than before a better color, glitter, or hearts in clear polish. It was a tough decision before they each choose the one.<br /><br />These girls were excited and full of giggles. They were moving around while they waited their turn. Will they be able to hold still long enough to let the nail polish dry? Believe it or not they made it through. At one point, I thought Lindsay was going to fall asleep. It was a tough call at the end. They started to copy each other's movement....just moments before the giggles start to come back. Yeah, there nails were dry enough.<br /><br />It was a great day to spend time with each other and watch the girls giggle and enjoy girl's day out!<br /><br /><br /><br /><div style="WIDTH: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><embed src="http://w255.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w255.photobucket.com/albums/hh139/krausedm/California Trip 2008/a14a82ad.pbw" width="300" height="360" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"></embed><a href="http://photobucket.com/slideshows" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 0px; FLOAT: left; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 0px" src="http://pic.photobucket.com/slideshows/btn.gif" /></a></div>Silly Monkeyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06341372463715702602noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-394547815447363677.post-57372367250725852442008-10-02T09:06:00.000-07:002008-10-06T03:47:49.191-07:00Our Family Camp Out July 2008<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/PWg0TRb4pPQ9p7JyunIO_g?authkey=I9ewCdd9Ipw"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/krausedm/SOfRqNrwcCI/AAAAAAAAA58/4ccbgblX2c8/s400/collage.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/krausedm/AllAboutTheFamily?authkey=I9ewCdd9Ipw">All About The Family</a></td></tr></table><br /><br /><br />This is the first Family camp out we have attempted with so many of us. My thought was to have enough to do so NO ONE got bored or complained there was nothing to do. We packed up our cars with camping equipment, plenty of food, games, bikes, water fun and more for everyone.<br /><br />The grand kids got together and put on a play. Poor Ryan being the only boy old enough got stuck playing the monster chasing the dancing ballerinas.<br /><br />The grand daughters had a field day making lots of jewelry. Ryan brought his Hulk gloves and soccer ball; to avoid having to make jewelry. Matthew are youngest grandson brought his cars and was fascinated by all the bikes; which he called cars. It really didn't matter how old the grand kids were they seem to all have dirt<span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">y</span> faces or dirty clothes.<br /><br />Uncle Andrew's goal was to be the cool Uncle and he succeeded with his family home evening lesson about god created even bugs and worms. He made his special dessert; worms and dessert. He invited all the nieces and nephews spend the night in his tent.<br /><br />The grand kids enjoy showing off all the little creatures they found; frogs, lizards, and dead baby fishes.<br /><br />A fun time was had by all and I am sure they will remember it for a long time.
